AWARDS & TROPHIES
50 of the world’s rarest motor cars, ranging from the very earliest pioneering models to the present day are being brought by the major historic car collectors from around the world to compete for the highly coveted ‘Best of Show’ award.
Uniquely, the ‘Best of Show’ winner is determined by the Owners’ themselves. Each owner has one vote to choose the car, other than their own, which they believe to be the finest motor car entered into the Concours. The trophy will be presented to the winner by Wilhelm Schmid, CEO of A. Lange & Söhne at the Concours Grand Celebration Dinner.
Best of Show Award
The highest distinction of the Concours, presented by A. Lange & Söhne, is awarded to the vehicle that stands out in design, condition, originality, and elegance and captures the hearts of both participants and the jury. What makes our Concours truly unique: the winner is not selected by a traditional jury, but by the participants themselves. Each collector has one vote and casts it for the car they would most love to take home and add to their own collection. This year, the winner also received the skilfully crafted Meissen Vase – a symbol of timeless artistry and excellence.
Decade Awards
Honouring the most outstanding vehicles of each era — from the earliest days of motoring of the 1920’s to the modern age in the 1990’s & Onwards Class. These awards celebrate iconic classics that represent the legacy and evolution of the automobile.
Chairman’s Award (Richard Charlesworth, MVO)
A very special accolade, personally presented by the Chairman of the Steering Committee, Richard Charlesworth, MVO. It honours a vehicle that leaves a lasting impression through its story, character, or emotional presence.
2025 The Best of Show: 1932 Austro Daimler Bergmeister
The striking silver Lion trophy was painstakingly created by sculptor and artist Robert Rattray over the course of six months. Internationally acclaimed for his impressionistic works in silver and bronze, Rattray draws inspiration from the natural world and his rural heritage. Among his celebrated pieces is the ‘Windsor Greys’ statue (2014), commissioned to honour the Queen’s coronation and unveiled by Her Majesty herself.
In addition to this majestic symbol of excellence, the winner of Best of Show also received the exquisitely hand-crafted Meissen vase — a testament to timeless craftsmanship and artistic brilliance.
