Flavien and Vanessa Marçais are internationally renowned curators, concours judges, and historic motoring experts, known for their impeccable eye for design, provenance, and rarity. As a husband-and-wife duo, they bring decades of experience in selecting and presenting the world’s finest automobiles to our leading concours events across the UK and now Tegernsee.

With deep roots in the classic car world and a shared passion for automotive heritage, they serve as the curators of the Concours of Elegance Germany, carefully assembling an exceptional field of vehicles that reflect both timeless elegance and significant historical importance.

THE STEERING COMMITTEE

A true highlight of the Concours of Elegance Germany is our unique owner-led judging process. Unlike traditional concours events where a jury decides, here it is the participants themselves who vote for the Best of Show car. Each owner has one vote — choosing the car they would most love to add to their own collection.

Every member of our esteemed Steering Committee also casts a vote. But at the heart of our concours are the participants — passionate custodians of automotive history whose expertise and love for their cars shine through. They know every detail, every story, and every nuance of these magnificent vehicles — and it is their perspective we seek to honour.

We believe: who could better judge the excellence of a car than those who preserve it with such care and dedication? This approach brings a unique depth and authenticity to our concours — a celebration by collectors, for collectors.
