Tegernsee, Germany – 7th August 2025:
The second annual Concours of Elegance Germany has concluded with resounding success, delivering an unparalleled showcase of automotive excellence supported by prestigious partnerships worth €95 million in displayed vehicles. Held at the stunning Gut Kaltenbrunn on Lake Tegernsee, the event has firmly established itself as Germany’s leading international concours, attracting world-class partners and discerning collectors from across Europe and beyond.
Presenting partners lead exceptional programme
A. Lange & Söhne returned for its second year as presenting partner with a commanding presence throughout the event. CEO Wilhelm Schmid actively participated in the Alpine Elegance Tour and personally presented multiple awards, including the coveted ‘Best of Show’ trophy to the 1932 Austro Daimler Bergmeister winner and the Emerging Collectors Concours award to the 1978 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 Litre Ex-Press Car. The luxury watchmaker’s strategic partnership included a branded main stage, private client viewing area, and the launch of a new timepiece – A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date in Pink Gold -coinciding with the concours’ opening day. Remarkably, Wilhelm Schmid also claimed the 1950’s Decade Award with his own 1956 AC ACE Bristol.
RM Sotheby’s continued its role as official auction partner, creating significant excitement with its special exhibition of star lots from ‘The Champions – Schumacher and F1 Legends’ online auction. The partnership was further highlighted when the auction specialist’s November 2024 Munich auction lot – a 1929 Mercedes-Benz 710 SS Roadster by Corsica – claimed the 1920’s Decade Award at Concours of Elegance Germany 2025, demonstrating the lasting connection between auction house and concours excellence.
Automotive partners deliver stunning display
The event’s automotive partner programme reached new heights with premium and luxury manufacturers creating the largest automotive showcase of 2025.
Official Ferrari Dealer Emil Frey Sportivo created a spectacular activation with its innovative ‘Casa Ferrari’ mobile structure, positioned opposite the club concours. The installation featured an impressive range, including the Ferrari Roma Spyder, 512 M, Testarossa, 812 Competizione, 296, 812 Superfast and Purosangue, complete with a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views of the concours parade.Lamborghini Munich showcased its newest launch, the Lamborghini Temerario, alongside client cars including the iconic Countach, while Schaltkulisse displayed one of the event’s rarest vehicles – a Maserati MC12 – alongside Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss and classic Ferraris.
The programme was further strengthened by Semco Cars representing Koenigsegg and Rimac with displays including the Rimac Nevera and Koenigsegg Jesko, Dörr Group featuring the Bugatti Veyron and Aston Martin DB5 Continuation Goldfinger Edition, and Porsche Zentrum Inntal presenting the legendary 918 Spider, Carrera GT and 550 models. Additional partners included Brabus with classic Mercedes models, Polestar offering test drives, and innovative displays from Pal-V, RUF, ABT, and the remarkable Wundercar Collection showcasing BMW E3-based creations.
Lifestyle partners created memorable experiences
The concours’ lifestyle partners programme delivered exceptional experiences across the two-day event. AirX sponsored the exclusive Welcome Dinner at ClubHaus Bachmair Weissach and presented a special award for the participant travelling the furthest distance – Nishant Dossa with his 1948 Bentley MK1 Mysore Park Ward from India. The brand’s large pavilion activation in the concours courtyard invited clients to discover private aviation offerings.
Meissen made its spectacular debut, providing handcrafted porcelain awards including the first-ever ‘Best of Show’ vase, Decade Award plates, and co-branded gifts for all owners. The company’s activation included a fully appointed table display and porcelain painting sessions for participants. Sotheby’s International Realty continued its partnership as Junior Concours sponsor while hosting a panel discussion on ‘The World of Luxury’ alongside RM Sotheby’s and Sotheby’s representatives. Additional lifestyle partners included OCC with panel discussions and emerging collectors judging, Amalgam continuing its exquisite 1:18 scale model displays, and transportation partner EM Rogers ensuring safe delivery of concours vehicles.
Bond Straße shopping experience for visitors
The curated Bond Straße shopping experience featured premium lifestyle brands, creating a comprehensive luxury destination. Sportalm presented traditional Dirndl collections with a fashion show hosted by the Modelinstitute, while Steinway provided piano displays with live performances during the Grand Celebration Dinner. The experience was completed by Lengling fragrances, offering its complete scent collection, Reviderm beauty products, Heinz Bauer leather jackets, and interactive experiences throughout the weekend.
James Brooks-Ward, CEO of Thorough Events, said: “The second edition of Concours of Elegance Germany has exceeded all expectations, with our partners delivering world-class experiences that perfectly complement the automotive excellence on display. The €95 million value of partner vehicles demonstrates the calibre of brands choosing to associate with our event. We’re particularly grateful to A. Lange & Söhne for its continued trust and expanded partnership, and to all our automotive and lifestyle partners who have helped create such an extraordinary concours.
“The success of Concours of Elegance 2025 builds momentum toward our sister event – Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace, which is scheduled for 5-7 September 2025, and truly reinforces the international prestige of the Concours of Elegance brand.”
