Confirmed: Alpina B7 S Turbo E24
The Concours of Elegance Germany is set to feature a rare gem from the automotive world: the BMW ALPINA B7 S Turbo Coupé. This exclusive car, based on the BMW 635 CSi, was produced in a limited run of just 30 units between May 1982 and September 1982.
The ALPINA B7 S Turbo E24 boasts a highly modified engine derived from the 3.5-litre M30 cylinder. Enhancements including a KKK turbocharger, modified cylinder head, valves, and pistons elevate the engine’s performance to an impressive 330 hp. This power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a swift 5.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 262 km/h.
Distinguished by its striking ALPINA Green Metallic paint, all 30 units of the B7 S Turbo Coupé share this signature color, a first for ALPINA. The particular model on display, bearing production number 007, has undergone extensive restoration by ALPINA, ensuring it stands out in pristine condition.
