Munich, 20 June 2025 – At the end of July, the Concours of Elegance Germany, presented by A. Lange & Söhne, will bring elegance, luxury, and lifestyle to Gut Kaltenbrunn on Lake Tegernsee. This prestigious automotive gathering will be impressively supported this year by the renowned porcelain manufacturer MEISSEN. For 315 years, MEISSEN has celebrated exceptional craftsmanship and now brings its distinctive aesthetic and artistic finesse to the Concours of Elegance Germany — creating an unforgettable experience for guests and collectors.
Visitors can look forward to the extraordinary artistry of Europe’s first porcelain manufacturer. The 50 car owners eligible for the Best of Show award will receive special keepsakes from MEISSEN: a hand-decorated champagne coupe and a “vide-poche” dish. These limited-edition porcelain pieces were crafted exclusively by hand in the MEISSEN manufactory and adorned with the Concours of Elegance Germany logo.
In addition, MEISSEN is providing stylish prizes: for the Decade Awards, ten wall plates featuring the Concours logo have been designed as trophies. The Best of Show winner can expect a true showpiece — a hand-painted trophy that showcases MEISSEN’s highest level of artistry. The highlight: the Best of Show Award, a one-off trophy over 50 cm tall made of white gold, was created specially for the Concours over two months, involving more than 50 hours of hand-painting. This MEISSEN masterpiece will make its world premiere on July 25, 2025, at Lake Tegernsee.
In the Bond Street Area — the luxury heart of the Concours — MEISSEN will also present an elegant dinner setting. Visitors and participants will have a unique opportunity: under the guidance of a MEISSEN painter, they can paint their own porcelain cup. Accompanied by live piano music, guests can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of refined porcelain artistry and purchase selected pieces.
Additionally, MEISSEN will enhance the event with a Gala Dinner Porcelain Experience — a curated journey through the design history of MEISSEN. Each course will be served on iconic tableware that transports 315 years of dining culture into the present. The curated exhibition includes MEISSEN masterpieces such as the opulent Krater Vase (valued at €440,000), which impresses not only with its 80 cm height and 80 kg weight but also with over 100 different decorative patterns and painting techniques — the pinnacle of craftsmanship. Also on display will be the porcelain sculpture of Marilyn Monroe, part of the MEISSEN x Michael Moebius collaboration. This unique bust, featuring a hand-crafted, mouth-blown bubblegum element from the Moser Glassworks, was created in 15 months of traditional craftsmanship. Limited to only ten pieces, each bust is a one-of-a-kind due to its unique finish.
Through this partnership, the Concours of Elegance Germany underscores its ambition to be the meeting place for leading names from the automotive and luxury worlds. MEISSEN and the esteemed partners of CoEG celebrate design, culture, and craftsmanship at the highest level — promising guests at Lake Tegernsee a truly memorable experience.
