Munich, 26 June 2025 – RM Sotheby’s, the world’s leading auction house for classic cars, continues its strong presence in the German market as the Official Auction Partner of the Concours of Elegance Germany at Gut Kaltenbrunn on 25–26 July.
Following an elegant preview in May for select collectors, RM Sotheby’s now invites guests with a ticket to the Concours of Elegance Germany to a truly unique experience: the exclusive exhibition and online auction “The Champions – Schumacher and F1 Legends.” The special feature display by RM Sotheby’s will showcase highlights from the world’s largest collection of Schumacher memorabilia – only on this weekend, only at Lake Tegernsee, and only during the Concours of Elegance Germany.
During the Concours weekend, RM Sotheby’s will present this extraordinary collection of Schumacher memorabilia, including original race suits, helmet and gloves – the largest of its kind. It is complemented by items from other F1 legends such as Senna and Vettel, carefully collected over 35 years. “The Champions” online auction will close a few days after the event. This is a once-in-a-lifetime museum-level experience and an exclusive glimpse into motorsport history – before the lots disappear into private collections.
RM Sotheby’s recently thrilled collectors with its Tegernsee Auction 2024: The rare 1949 Talbot-Lago T26 Grand Sport Coupé by Barou achieved €962,050 and will return in 2025 as part of the Concours line-up – a spectacular debut for this year’s show season. Other auction highlights included a stunning 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C by Scaglietti, sold for €2,536,250, and an exclusive Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, which fetched an impressive €3,436,250.
On 18 October, RM Sotheby’s will host its major annual live auction in Munich – a not-to-miss event for collectors and automotive enthusiasts. Expect a line-up of extraordinary classics and rare cars of international calibre.

About A. Lange & Söhne
Dresden watchmaker Ferdinand Adolph Lange laid the foundations for Saxony’s precision watchmaking industry when he established his manufacture in 1845. His precious pocket watches remain highly coveted among collectors all over the world. The company was expropriated after the Second World War, and the name A. Lange & Söhne nearly vanished. But in 1990, Walter Lange, Ferdinand Adolph Lange’s great-grandson, had the courage to revitalise the brand. Today, Lange crafts only a few thousand wristwatches per year, mainly in gold or platinum. They are equipped exclusively with movements made in-house that are elaborately finished and assembled by hand. With 75 calibres manufactured in-house since 1990, A. Lange & Söhne holds a leading position in the watchmaking world. Some of the major successes include the LANGE 1 with the first outsize date in a regularly produced wristwatch and the ZEITWERK with its precisely jumping numerals. Extraordinary complications such as the ZEITWERK MINUTE REPEATER, the DATOGRAPH PERPETUAL TOURBILLON or the TRIPLE SPLIT represent the manufacture’s quest to take its traditional art to increasingly new heights. Launched in 2019, the sporty and elegant ODYSSEUS in stainless steel marks the beginning of a new chapter for the manufacture.
