London, June 17, 2025: Thorough Events proudly announces that AirX, the leading luxury private aviation operator, has been appointed as the Official Private Aviation Partner for all four upcoming events: Concours of Elegance Germany, Concours of Elegance Bahrain, the London Concours, and the flagship Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Malta, AirX operates one of Europe’s largest private jet fleets, employing over 400. The company has transformed from €8 million in sales to a €160 million powerhouse by the end of 2024, with forecasted sales of €205 million for 2025. With a diverse fleet including Bombardier Challenger 850s, Embraer Lineage 1000s, and the world’s largest VIP charter airliner, the A340 “9H-BIG”, AirX caters to VVIPs, global brands, major corporations, and governments worldwide.
The partnership launches with the Concours of Elegance Germany 2025 on July 25 and 26 at Gut Kaltenbrunn on Lake Tegernsee. AirX will host the exclusive welcome dinner at the prestigious Clubhaus Bachmair Weissach, bringing together 140 VIPs and classic car collectors for an evening of automotive celebration. This intimate gathering will set the tone for the weekend’s festivities, creating connections between collectors and enthusiasts from around the world.
Central to the global partnership is the introduction of the ‘AirX Award’ at each event, recognising the classic car collector who has travelled the furthest distance to showcase their automotive treasure. This award celebrates the international nature of the Concours community and AirX’s role in connecting passionate collectors across continents.
AirX will maintain a prominent presence with luxury hospitality enclosures, offering guests exclusive spaces to experience the unique atmosphere of each Concours.
The collaboration continues at the prestigious Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace, where AirX will donate an auction prize for the COE fundraising event hosted at the Owners Welcome Party, with all proceeds benefiting The King’s Trust. As with the other shows, the weekend will feature a luxury enclosure, maintaining their signature hospitality presence at this flagship event within the gardens of Hampton Court Palace.
The partnership extends with the 2025 Concours of Elegance Bahrain, where AirX will provide a luxury enclosure, while again presenting the ‘AirX Award’ for furthest distance travelled. At the 2026 London Concours, AirX will sponsor a specific vehicle class of up to 12 cars and present the corresponding prize, alongside maintaining their hospitality presence.
John Matthews, Founder & Chairman, AirX says: ““Performance. Precision. Perfection. The Concours of Elegance honours the extraordinary, just like every AirX journey. With one of Europe’s most diverse fleets, we don’t just fly passengers; we move individuals who value time, discretion, and the quiet luxury of seamless travel. This partnership is a meeting of standards: exceptional, exacting, and elevated.”
James Brooks-Ward, CEO of Thorough Events, adds: “AirX brings tremendous expertise in luxury travel and an understanding of our international collector community. Their commitment to excellence mirrors the standards we maintain at our Concours events, making them an ideal partner as we continue to grow our global presence across four distinct yet equally prestigious automotive celebrations.”

Each event is organised by Thorough Events and showcases the world’s most exquisite vehicles from prestigious manufacturers and private collections, with many collector vehicles making their concours debuts at these exclusive gatherings.
