Munich, March 27, 2025: The organizers of the Concours of Elegance Germany (CoEG) are excited to welcome strong partners for the prestigious event on July 25-26, 2025, at Gut Kaltenbrunn on Lake Tegernsee. The elite automotive competition, hosted by Thorough Events, aims to captivate participants and visitors with both world-class cars and exclusive partnerships. In addition to the event’s main sponsor, German luxury watch brand A. Lange & Söhne, the Dutch company PAL-V is joining as a key partner.
As the leading provider of sustainable FlyDrive solutions, PAL-V will unveil the world’s first commercial flying car at Lake Tegernsee. The PAL-V Liberty will be exhibited during the event and presented on stage. This revolutionary three-wheeled gyrocopter seamlessly combines the convenience of driving with the freedom of flying, transitioning from road to air in just minutes. The PAL-V drives like a sports car while offering safe and stable flight capabilities. Two vehicles will be on display at the Concours of Elegance Germany – one in road mode and one in flight mode.
Powered by a 100-horsepower combustion engine, the PAL-V Liberty reaches a top speed of 160 km/h (99 mph) on the road. The switch from driving to flying mode takes just five minutes. In the air, the innovative gyrocopter covers distances of 400-500 km (250-310 miles) with a flight time of over four hours, reaching a maximum speed of 180 km/h (112 mph) and a maximum altitude of 3,500 meters (11,500 feet). The Liberty requires a 180-meter (590 feet) runway for takeoff and only 30 meters (98 feet) for landing. These features make the PAL-V Liberty a unique mobility solution for private and business customers as well as for use by government agencies.
“The PAL-V Liberty is a revolutionary, innovative product that marks the dawn of the flying car era. It combines safety with excitement, designed to meet even the most demanding customer expectations,” says Robert Dingemanse, founder and CEO of PAL-V.
“We are proud to support the Concours of Elegance Germany 2025 and look forward to an unforgettable event against a breathtaking backdrop.”
James Brooks-Ward, CEO of Thorough Events, adds:
“This bold vision of future transportation perfectly complements the Concours of Elegance at Gut Kaltenbrunn, as the event celebrates mobility through the ages. At Lake Tegernsee, we showcase extraordinary vehicles that reflect over 100 years of automotive history—from the past and present to the future with the PAL-V Liberty.”
