RM Sotheby’s to Offer Exceptional Collector Cars at The Tegernsee Auction

2009-Ferrari-599XX

RM Sotheby’s, official auction partner to the Concours of Elegance Germany, will hold its second annual sale at Gut Kaltenbrunn on 4 July 2026, presenting a carefully curated selection of significant collector cars against the backdrop of Lake Tegernsee and the Bavarian Alps. Among the highlights going under the hammer are six lots of exceptional rarity, spanning five decades of automotive ambition.

2015 Koenigsegg One:1 (Estimate: €10,000,000–€13,000,000)

Koenigsegg 1

One of just six customer examples ever produced, the Koenigsegg One:1 took its name from an ambition no road-legal car had previously achieved: a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, realised through 1,379 PS and a dry weight of 1,360 kg. Known within the Koenigsegg community as “JC”, this example is widely considered the most celebrated of all six cars, finished in clear-coated carbon fibre with China Pink detailing. It has covered just 4,233 kilometres from new and has been maintained throughout by Esser Automotive, Koenigsegg’s long-standing German representative.

2009 Ferrari 599XX Evo (Estimate: €2,000,000–€2,500,000)

2009-Ferrari-599XX

One of the earliest cars built, likely falling within the first half-dozen examples produced, this 599XX Evo was allocated to an industrialist who ran the car with his racing-driver son at various XX Programme events. The 599XX was Ferrari’s front-engined answer to the FXX, and at the Nürburgring in April 2010 it achieved a lap time of 6 minutes 58 seconds — faster than the Enzo. Limited to just 45 examples, the 599XX was engineered for track use only, and the Evoluzione package, fitted here, raised output to 750 PS with a Formula 1-inspired active rear wing. An opportunity to acquire one of the most technically advanced track Ferraris ever created.

2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet (Estimate: €400,000–€550,000)

2006-Mercedes-CLK-DTM

One of just 80 open-top examples built by HWA AG to commemorate Mercedes-Benz’s 2003 DTM championship-winning season, this exceptionally preserved CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet shows fewer than 2,000 kilometres from new and is offered by its supplying dealership. Powered by a supercharged 5.4-litre V8 producing 582 hp, it ranks among the most dramatic and exclusive road-going Mercedes-Benz models of the modern era, combining touring car provenance with the singular appeal of open-top motoring.

2004 Porsche Carrera GT (Estimate: €1,200,000–€1,600,000)

2004-Porsche-Carrera-GT

The Carrera GT traces its origins to a cancelled Le Mans prototype programme. Rather than abandoning the project, Porsche transformed the platform into a road-going halo car that quickly established itself alongside the Ferrari Enzo and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. This GT Silver Metallic example, completed at Porsche’s Leipzig factory on 25 February 2004, was originally delivered to the United States before returning to Germany, and shows 24,121 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. It is offered with a fresh service by Porsche AG in Stuttgart.

1990 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II (Estimate: €250,000–€280,000)

1990-Mercedes-190-E

The roadgoing version of AMG-Mercedes’ two-time championship-winning touring car and among the most sought-after homologation specials, this is the 72nd of approximately 500 examples produced, delivered new to Mercedes-Benz Berlin where it reportedly remained as a display car for two years. It subsequently passed to a former AMG employee who kept it in Germany for 26 years, driving approximately 3,000 kilometres and having it serviced exclusively at a factory dealership. The odometer shows 75,738 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. A remarkably well-preserved example of one of the defining homologation specials of its era.

1995 Mercedes-Benz SL Brabus 7.3S V12 (Estimate: €200,000–€250,000)

1995-Mercedes-Brabus

Produced in extremely limited numbers between 1995 and 2001, the Brabus SL 7.3S transformed Mercedes-Benz’s flagship R129 roadster into a genuine supercar. Enthusiasts quickly nicknamed it the “Beast from Bottrop”: with a claimed top speed of 304 km/h, it ranked among the fastest convertibles in the world, powered by Brabus’s legendary 7.3-litre M120 “S” V12 producing 582 hp. This 1995 example, the earliest year of production, presents a compelling entry point into one of the great German performance road cars of the 1990s.
