RM Sotheby’s to Offer Extraordinary Koenigsegg One:1 at The Tegernsee Auction

Koenigsegg 1

RM Sotheby’s, official auction partner to the Concours of Elegance Germany, will offer one of the most significant hypercars of the 21st century when a 2015 Koenigsegg One:1 goes under the hammer at the Tegernsee Auction on 4th July 2026.

One of only six customer examples ever produced, the One:1 was unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show as a landmark achievement in automotive engineering. Its name reflects an ambition no manufacturer had previously realised in a road-legal car: a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. A twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V-8 producing 1,379 PS is housed within a car weighing just 1,360 kilograms, making it, to use Koenigsegg’s own terminology, the world’s first “megacar”.

The example to be offered, chassis 7108, occupies a particularly special place within the One:1 story. Known affectionately within the Koenigsegg community as “JC” – its initials proudly displayed on the engine cover – it is believed to be the third customer vehicle completed. Its striking combination of clear-coated carbon fibre and Kevlar bodywork, set against bespoke China Pink detailing, has made it an icon among enthusiasts since delivery.

At the time of cataloguing, the car had covered just 4,233 kilometres from new, and it has been maintained throughout its life by Esser Automotive, Koenigsegg’s long-standing German representative. It is offered with an estimate of €8,000,000–€10,000,000.

The Tegernsee Auction takes place on 4 July 2026 at Gmund am Tegernsee. Further details can be found at rmsothebys.com.
