SLR.Club To Join With Three Iconic Models

The first is the Stirling Moss SLR prototype. One of only 75 examples built, the rarest variant of the Mercedes-Benz SLR is inspired by Sir Stirling Moss’s 1955 Mille Miglia victory. Only offered to existing SLR customers, the Stirling Moss SLR sacrificed creature comforts, including the windscreen and roof, in the pursuit of performance, aesthetics, and extreme driver enjoyment.

Also taking centre stage is the SLR 722. Limited to a run of only 150 models, the 722 is named after the Mercedes 300 SLR that British racing legend Stirling Moss drove to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia race in Italy. The number refers to the time – 7:22 am – that they started the gruelling 1,000-mile challenge, which they completed at a record-breaking average speed of 100 mph. This particular example has been driven at Goodwood by Lewis Hamilton.

Lastly, SLR.CLUB will exhibit the Mercedes SLR McLaren by MSO. One of only 25 cars converted by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), this unique green model stands out for its exclusive design and bespoke features. Performance-wise, the MSO SLR has upgraded steering, suspension, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
